Gates of the Lowveld
Abel Erasmus Pass, Mpumalanga
The Olifants river enters the lowveld through a mountainous valley and curves past a township as sun sets behind the escarpment. Whilst this isn't part of the canyon, it is very close by and route that most people drive on their way to the canyon.
