The winter sun peeks out between the clouds to briefly illuminate the small fishing town harbour of Doringbaai.
When you think of a place on the S.A coastline where you can capture nice images of fishing boats, everyone will tell you to either go to Paternoster or Struisbaai. I discovered this amazing little place back on a trip in June 2009 and got all 6 of the photographs in this gallery on the same afternoon. If you want photos of fishing boats then this is definitely the place to go, but is far up the West Coast. It is 5km South of Strandfontein on the railway service road which is open to the public for a small toll fee.
