Cederberg

The Cederberg is one of the main mountain ranges in the Cape and it is characterised by its red rock. Named after the Cedar trees that were abundant in the area, though most were cut down by European settlers centuries ago. The area is also rich in San rock art and have iconic rock formations like the Maltese Cross, Wolfberg Arch and Wolfberg cracks.
